
As a part of the Super7’s Tokyo Underground Tour, the good folks of S7 and Gargamel team up to put on a show at the Gargamel’s flagship store Thrash Out in Japan. For those lucky enough to be in the area or who are able to join in on the underground tour will be the first to feast their eyes on some custom painted figures. If that is not enough for you some top-secret toy surprises, which I’m sure will tickle almost anyone’s fancy. This will all be going down September 27th @ 6PM JP Time. Oh and for those of you on the wrong side of the world, a limited amount of the releases at the Thrash Out show will be available at S7 as they return.

Green Pepper was an unplanned creation by toxic waste near a pepper field. The toxic waste was in liquid form and though it didn’t touch the pepper field, the gas from it did. One night, a bright green beam glowed around a pepper stock. When the light died down, a creature came out. It was Green Pepper! Nobody else was like him and he had no clue how to live on the farm, so he had to discover everything on his own. Green Pepper’s adventure started from the pepper field and continued from there. Eventually, he ran into Little 9, Midnight and X81, who became his first friends in his strange new life.
Little 9 is a cute little alien from a planet called Alko, far away from earth. Alko is a boring planet, so he left his home to discover new life and to have fun. He ran into a planet called earth and landed near a city called Rapid City. Here, he noticed lots of new things and creatures he had never seen before, called humans. After scoping out the area, he felt very comfortable and found new things to play with. Little 9 is the type of character that loves to play and gets himself into things that can or may cause unintentional trouble. He doesn’t mean to get into trouble, he just happens to be curious. Little 9 also loves to invent things out of objects around him. Inventing happens to be one of his favorite hobbies, even though the things he comes up with may not always work. So little 9 wants to stay on earth to start a new life, make new friends, and take on adventures that come his way.

pada tahun 2007, monik membuat sebuah instalasi yang dibuat untuk melaunchingkan produk Jeans Monik terbaru, sebuah instalasi yang tervisualisasikan dalam bentuk rentetan Jeans girl series, karya ini dibuat beramai ramai oleh : Icrut (Marishka Cempaka), Irmasari Y (Art Director), Citra Remi Melati, dibantu Ant (70’s Orgasm Club) dan Luki Sarwo sebagai production line, diorama instalasi ini dibuat berbarengan dengan launching album ke 2, band electronic pop asal Jakarta rilisan Aksara Records Goodnight Electric, dan diselenggrakan di Monik Yard (halaman depan Monik house), entah mengapa dokumentasi instalasi ini sangat minim, jujur foto ini diambil dengan sangat tidak berkonsep, mungkin waktu itu semua crew sibuk mempersiapkan acara yang berlangsung, dan lupa akan mendokumentasiaknnya Lol….padahal kalau di dokumentasikan dengan baik instalasi ini cukup enak untuk dilihat, diorama instalasi ini dibuat sedemikian rupa sehingga terlihat seperti gantungan-gantungan (indonesian tradisional hanger) jeans yang berada diluar atau di sebuah taman, dibuat sangat serius dan dikomandoi Irma sebagai art director,

Irmasari Yudawinata dan Riva Ramanda melakukan Kolaborasi pada tahun 2003 untuk sebuah artwok yang diberi title Hell Kitten, entah mengapa disebut Hell Kitten, sepertinya ga ada hell nya sebenarnya, tak ada kesan seram pada artwork ini, tapi sentuhan graphis dari 2 orang designer yang mampu membawa monik mencuat ke permukaan, pada tahun 2003 patch ini sempat menjadi hits, logo ini diaplikasikan ke beberapa apparel dan bags, pada tahun 2006 kembali dipakai untuk Celtic T’shirt, dan ludes dalam waktu satu season saja, maklum waktu itu tak ada pembeli putus yang di approach pihak Monik, pure distribution consigment, untuk pemasaran seperti ini dapat dibilang cukup cepat…yep Monik melakukan sistem wholesale hanya pada tahun akhir tahun 2006 dan awal tahun 2007, setelah BOOM gelombang wholesale melanda clothing, sistem ini memacu persaingan antar clothing yang semakin ketat dan musim membuat clothing melanda Indonesia, khususnya Bandung secara massive, design ini dibuat dengan sangat limited, hanya diproduksi sebanyak 4 lusin saja, dengan exposure melalui VJ-VJ MTV dan Majalah Cosmo Girl (AeM!)
